How to measure up your kitchen or bedroom... ready for a virtual design appointment

Step 1: Draw the room outline
Don’t worry, we’re not expecting a work of art, just a rough outline will do. Be sure this contains any structural features and protrusions.

Step 2: Add in detail
Add any openings your kitchen or bedroom has to your drawing, like doors, windows, radiators and archways. Important for kitchens is to make a note of where your sink, boilers, soil pipes or electrical meters

Step 3: Add the measurements
It’s time to start. Use a tape measure and go along the outline of your plan one by one, jotting them down as you go.
