After having fitted bedroom furniture in their previous house, when Mr and Mrs McMullen moved into their new home they knew exactly who to trust with their brand new fitted kitchen. In the extension with bright open windows they wanted a bright kitchen that worked well in the open space with some distinguishing features.
Range: Croft | Finish: Kitchen Slate Grey
Mr and Mrs McMullen loved the inset door frame of the shaker style Croft and chose the painted tones of Slate Grey and Pebble Grey for the cabinetry. The kitchen was made their own, paired with ornate and natural marble and oak wood worktops. Features such as a breakfast bar, larder units and a low level book case for cookery books were important to the couple and bespoke designed into their fitted kitchen.
During their consultation, the designer recommended appliances based on their room layout, cooking lifestyle and preferences. A Caple wine cooler with one section set for white wine and the other for red meant their collection of bottles could be stored at the perfect temperature ready to be opened and poured. In addition, a Neff worktop extraction downdraft hood makes cooking on the island space a pleasurable experience without the noise of an overhead fan.
"We are and have been absolutely thrilled with the kitchen and the whole experience from design to fitting." - Mr and Mrs McMullen
