Two rooms with fitted wardrobes
We had two separate fitters to install our new wardrobes. Both were excellent and we are delighted with the finished results. However we were disappointed that Hammonds don't provide a fully inclusive service. We had to employ a builder and plasterer to prepare the areas for the wardrobes before they were fitted and someone else to make good the area when the job was complete. When getting a quote these additional costs need to be taken into account.

I was thinking it would be a chore to…BUT
I was thinking it would be a chore to have a sales person come to my home for measurements of my wardrobes ….. especially as l was having three rooms measured and priced But it was a delight to have HAMMONDS at my Home especially as we had TAYLOR who was a delight and so helpful with me deciding what l wanted there was no hard pitch sales Taylor was great to have here helping So as you can imagine due to the product being so good and Taylor it was sold all three rooms are going to look WOW Thank you HAMMONDS and TAYLOR you were a delight

On the whole very pleased with…
On the whole very pleased with wardrobes. The people who carried out the initial appointment survey & installation were courteous & helpful. The quality & look are excellent. Just a couple of niggles... 1. Disappointing that the spacing of the shelves isn't variable 2. The delivery of the product let the others down. The delivery driver was not very helpful & left everything outside in the rain. Luckily it was well packaged but a friend helped me carry much of it inside & cover the rest with his tarpaulin. 3. In general i don't feel that i live in a small house with limited storage for the product & the fitter to work was communicated. It wasn't possible or realistic to completely clear the room but the fitter was very accommodating & obliging 4. There is a small uneven gap between the bottom of the half door & sill of the false bottom which is annoying. The fitter Joe did his best to fix this but it's a shame.

Good communication and quality products
Hammonds were very informative, their team members were punctual and contacted me to confirm appointments. The day for fitting the fitter called with an eta, Jack was very thorough asking me for decisions where necessary. The finished under stairs storage is very good quality, well fitted.

Hammonds were very efficient in booking an appointment to discuss options. Very informative and helpful. Were very good on the price and couldn't do enough to help you get what you wanted. Have just placed the order and are awaiting the survey appointment.
