Great Service From Hammonds

Heather, the designer turned up on time, and was very polite and helpful. I warned Heather before she looked at the room that it was not an easy space to work with due to sloping ceilings and a large chimney breast. Once in the room Heather got to work and started taking measurements, there were several other issues that had to be incorporated into the design. I let Heather get on with her work and left her in peace. A while late Heather asked me to come and have a look at the design that she had come up with. As the wardrobes were for my daughter, I asked her to come and take a look. My daughter was really impressed with what Heather had designed, so we discussed colours, door styles, and handle designs. Once everything was finalised, Heather gave us the price, this included fitting, I was really pleased with the price so I decided to place the order there and then. Hammonds have been in constant contact wit us regarding the surveyor's visit, and dates for fitting. So far I have been really happy with the service that I have received from Hammonds. Heather has surpassed where a leading competitor failed!

The tradesman was good.

I give 5 stars for the tradesman who was polite, diligent & hardworking when he professionally installed the wardrobe. He kept his work area clean and tidy. However, I would give 2 stars to customer service who have been less than helpful. An error has occurred on a previous install (part of the same contract) and there doesn't appear to be a will to remedy the situation.

Understairs Storage

The whole experience from the first visit to completion of installation was faultless and all completed with absolute professionalism. I was kept updated on all aspects of what was happening from start to finish. Very pleased with the quality of the end result and would definitely recommend Hammonds.

Fabulous quality product

The obvious disruption of the fit in your home is so worth it when the finished product is so fabulous topped only by the amazing fitter Edgars Ozolins the only word to sum him up is a perfectionist, his attention to problem solving and detail is amazing - he fitted the media unit over two 12 hour days and cleaned up after himself brilliantly, the new fitter for the rest of our order has big shoes to fill. Once again, Edgars is a fantastic credit to Hammonds.

Fitted wardrobes and Media wall

We 1 triple wardrobe, 1 wall to wall wardrobe with sliding doors and 1 media wall built over the period of 3 days. Paul built our wall to wall with sliding doors, and he did an amazing job. One door is damaged, however we have a new date for the replacement, this doesn't affect useage at all. Martyn built our Media Wall, and we are so impressed with such a statement piece of fitted furniture. He asked how we wanted shelves etc to be and we are way more than happy. Steve built our triple wardrobe and again what a statement piece of furniture. From the first contact through to completion Hammonds kept us informed and the fitters also kept us informed. Would we use Hammonds again or recommend them....absolutely.

lovely library room

Just had a lovely library room designed and installed from Hammonds. They were able to tailor the room exactly how I envisioned it. Daniel Winterman the fitter was available for questions throughout, was friendly and professional. He did an excellent job of installing the furniture and asked my opinions on any modifications that could be done, we made some changes and the room was even better than first designed- thank you Daniel.

A great experience

A great experience We are extremely pleased with our purchase. The company was great . It kept us informed from start to finish. The fitter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The room was left spotless and he kept us informed every step of the way. Would highly recommend.

Darren, the fitter, has been absolutely exceptional. Arriving consistently from 7am each morning, he worked with remarkable skill, care and professionalism throughout. Before moving into furniture fitting, Darren worked as a builder, and that practical experience clearly shows in the quality and precision of his work. What makes his story even more impressive is that, after long working days, he is also studying for an MA focused on AI applications in building project management for medium to large companies, with possible progression to a PhD. It’s rare to meet someone who combines such hands-on craftsmanship with genuine academic ambition and forward-thinking innovation. On top of all that, Darren is simply a pleasure to have around — charming, thoughtful and accompanied by a wonderful Irish brogue that somehow makes the whole process feel calmer and more enjoyable. Thanks also to his colleague David for his support during the installation, and to Alan, who carried out the original survey and sales visit with professionalism and clarity from the outset. A genuinely first-class experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Fitted wardrobe

The designer, surveyor and fitter all did an excellent job. Our new wardrobe looks fantastic and is made of very high quality materials. The finish is great and we are happy we went with Hammonds. I would highly recommend!
