Introducing two new features: Tongue and Groove Panelling and Acoustic Panelling

Wall panelling is a timeless feature in interior styling due to its ability to immediately elevate your space. It’s the perfect way to incorporate 2024’s minimaluxe trend: a decorating style which prioritises quiet luxury and the creation of a restful, soft, and personality-packed home.

We’re pleased to share that two new wall panelling features are now available to elevate your fitted furniture: tongue and groove, and acoustic.

Tongue and groove is available in any of our painted furniture colours. Acoustic panelling is only available in Black Oak, Tobacco Walnut, and Harbour Oak finishes.

Tongue and groove panelling:

A long-standing staple of countryside cottages or coastal retreats, tongue and groove panelling is an interior designer’s secret tool for adding depth and interest to walls. But it’s not only reserved for traditional homes. Tongue and groove works just as well in contemporary spaces due to its seamlessly sleek finish and timeless design.

Tongue and groove panelling is a method where each board has a ‘tongue’ on one edge and a corresponding ‘groove’ on the other. These tongues and grooves then click together, ensuring a tight fit with reduced risk of warping or bowing over time. This method is behind the smooth finish, providing a more modern aesthetic compared to other panelling, such as shiplap, where panels overlap.

We’re now able to offer tongue and groove alongside our fitted furniture to create a design that’s truly yours. The panels are a simple way to add interest when used along entire length of walls from floor to ceiling, or to create a subtle glimpse of texture when used behind shelving… the possibilities are endless.

Tongue and groove panelling is available in any of our painted colours.

Acoustic panelling:

When you think of acoustic panelling, soundproofing might be the first thing that comes to mind. However, these versatile panels offer much more than just minimising loud noise. Acoustic panelling dramatically enhances a room by creating bold focal features that your eyes can’t help but be drawn to, and add depth and dimension to otherwise flat surfaces.

With their clean lines and contemporary finishes, acoustic panelling contributes to a modern and polished aesthetic, but their simplicity means they’re also easily adaptable to nearly all home interior styles. They can be used sparingly to add a natural touch to a space or across entire walls for striking feature pieces… but the choices are all yours!

Acoustic panelling is available in 3 finishes: Black Oak, Tobacco Walnut, and Harbour Oak.
