Our integrated fireplace furniture is specially designed to work perfectly with the British Fires New Forest range — specifically the 870, 1200 and 1600 models. This ensures a seamless fit, safe installation and a beautiful, finished look.
Our furniture is carefully designed to work with specific British Fires models only. Using an alternative fire isn’t something we would recommend as it may not sit or perform as intended within the surround and would affect your furniture guarantee.
All of our integrated fire units come at a fixed height of 731mm. The width depends on your chosen fire: 884mm (870 model), 1368mm (1200 model), 1768mm (1600 model)
The fire unit is purchased separately. You can order it directly from British Fires or one of their approved stockists.
Your fire will be delivered by a third-party courier on a pallet, with kerbside delivery included.
Your fire will be fitted by a Hammonds Academy-trained installer. Because of the size and weight, we always send a two-person team to take care of everything.
Yes — a suitable power point must be ready before installation. If one isn’t already in place, you’ll need a qualified electrician to install it. Your surveyor will discuss this with you at your survey appointment and advise positioning of the socket etc.
Absolutely. Once installed, your fitter will unpack the unit, install it into the surround, and show you how to use the basic functions so you’re ready to enjoy it straight away.
