Which Christmas style are you?

It’s the 1^st of December on Sunday, who’s excited to get their hands on their first advent calendar chocolate? Now that we’re heading into December, we’re fully embrace the Christmas spirit. It’s got us thinking about all the ways we can decorate this year. We’ve narrowed it down to three options, but what would you choose?   

1. Cosy and Traditional

We love the warm nostalgia of a traditional Christmas: rich colours, plush velvet, and a soft candlelit glow conjure up feelings of snuggling up by the fire as snow settles outside… it’s a picture-perfect style that wouldn’t be amiss on the front of a Christmas card. Paper stars, golden acorns and mini candy cane baubles are perfect for channelling this vision.

2. Cool and Minimalist

But we also love the cool style found in a minimalist Christmas. This modern style indulges in textures and materials to layer a festive feeling onto a primarily monochrome colour palette. It’s carefully curated around a few key Christmas decorations, creating a luxe and contemporary aesthetic.

3. Fun and Quirky

We’re also torn between opting for the whimsy and wonder created by a colourful Christmas. Loaded with trinkets, kitsch motifs, and lots and lots of bright colour, this style is maximalism… and more. Introducing this style to your home can be as simple as switching out your stockings for sequinned ones, or go rogue and replace your tree’s star with a disco ball!
