We are now looking for a trust People & Culture Coordinator to make a valuable contribution to our business by delivering high-quality coordination and administrative support that helps our people and our business succeed. The successful candidate will work with intention, ensuring every task is handled accurately, efficiently, and to the high standards that reflect the Hammonds Way. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative People & Culture team at the heart of Hammonds. As a People & Culture Coordinator, you'll play an essential role in delivering operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, ensuring our people processes are accurate, efficient, and consistently delivered to a high standard. Your work will help create a trusted and empowering People service, supporting a high-performing organisation and enabling our colleagues to do their best work. What you’ll be doing: 

You will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support across the full employee lifecycle, including: 

  • Being the first point of contact for People & Culture enquiries, delivering excellent customer service. 

  • Supporting new starters, contractual changes and employee leavers. 

  • Coordinating interviews, candidate communications and recruitment administration. 

  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems. 

  • Supporting learning and development activities, training administration and leadership programmes. 

  • Producing reports, maintaining trackers and ensuring data accuracy. 

  • Coordinating invoices, supplier administration and operational processes. 

  • Supporting People & Culture projects, engagement initiatives and continuous improvement activities. 

 

What you will bring:  

  • A highly organised approach with excellent attention to detail. 
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive customer experiences. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships with colleagues, candidates, and stakeholders at all levels. 
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organised, and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies. 
  • A positive, proactive mindset with a desire to continuously learn, improve, and contribute to team success.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced administrative role, such as Recruitment or HR, would be an advantage, but is not essential- we're happy to support the right person to learn. 

 

Your Working hours/ pattern will be: 

Days: Monday to Friday  

Working Hours: 8:00am – 16:00pm OR 9:00am – 17:00pm 

Breaks: 30 mins (unpaid)   

Total Weekly Working Hours: 37.5
