Why did you choose Hammonds?

I chose Hammonds because they came highly recommended to me by a friend. I also did some research online and they had great reviews and lots of images and videos to look at across their social media pages so I could really get a feel for what their products would look like in my home. 

What was the space like before you had the transformation?

This room had always been tricky and I couldn't never find a piece of furniture that filled the space correctly. As it's not a wide room I needed something fitted that wouldn't take up too much space but that was still practical. 

How would you describe your interior style?

I like more of a classic interior style as I feel it doesn't date as quickly and I can easily add in more on trend pieces as and when I like them. I like my rooms to feel warm, cosy and inviting with lots of low level lighting.  

Is organisation important to you? If so, why?

Organisation is super important to me as this is a 1930s house with very little storage. It's important to me that IU can tidy my things away at the end of the day so that the cleaning is easier to keep on top of and furniture with built in storage is a game changer for me. 

What is the best thing about your new space?

The best thing about my new unit is that it's both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It has lots of cupboard space for all my practical items like vases, candles etc but also it has plenty of space for me to display all of the things I love and have collected over the years. The best of both worlds! 

How has your furniture had a positive impact on your life?

Furniture can transform a dead space into something that adds character and also functionality to a room. My unit has transformed a previously empty space into something I enjoy looking at everyday and also somewhere to hide all of my necessary everyday items.
