Why did you choose Hammonds?

I wanted a truly bespoke solution for the room I was working with as it wasn't straightforward in shape. I knew I needed functional design to maximise the space while still making it feel elegant, calm and in keeping with my home. Hammonds offered that tailored approach, with attention to detail and finishes that felt very "me". 

 

What was the space like before you had the transformation?

Before, the room was an unused spare bedroom with little wardrobe space so it felt wasted and awkward because of its shape. It never really had a purpose, and it became more of a storage spot than a space that was used. I always dreamt of turning it into a walk-in wardrobe and bringing my pinterest vision to life so it was great that Hammonds was able to make this happen and work with the quirks of the room. 

 

How would you describe your interior style?

My style is classic and timeless with a touch of modern countryside chic. I love pieces that feel elevated yet lived in with a mix of old and new, bringing together neutral and earthy tones, soft textures, and design choices that make a space feel warm and inviting whilst still looking polished. 

 

Is organisation important to you? If so, why?

Yes, very for me, organisation creates calm. Tidy space tidy mind. Having a space where everything had a place not only looks beautiful but also makes day-to-day life so much easier. It helps me start my day feeling clear-headed, rather than stressed by clutter especially when in a rush on those busy days. 

 

What is the best thing about your new space?

Mainly how it feels as it's not just a wardrobe, it's a room I actually want to spend time in. Whether I'm choosing an outfit, having a coffee on the bench seat, or just enjoying the calmness of the space, it feels like a little escape for just me. 

 

How has your furniture had a positive impact on your life?

It's completely transformed my morning and evenings. Getting dressed feels inspiring rather than overwhelming, and I find myself taking more joy in styling and planning my looks. Beyond that, it's given me a space that feels like an extension of my personality a little corner of the home that's truly mind filled with my favourite fashion finds.
