When you choose bespoke fitted wardrobes from us, you're keeping your conscience clean. We bring back every piece of cardboard, plastic and wood from your fitted wardrobe installation, recycle it back at our head office and use wood off-cuts to heat our factories.

A key consideration was storage space as Jennifer explained: “Because Daye is an energetic four-year old, he loves playing with his toys and he has lots of them!
“When I had my offer accepted on the house I started to think about where it might be good to add in storage, so for instance the alcoves in Victorian houses are the perfect places to introduce storage solutions that are in keeping with the room aesthetic.
Initially, she had heard about Hammonds through word of mouth but thought that it would be too expensive as she needed a lot of fitted furniture, in her lounge, kitchen, master bedroom and Daye’s room. However, once she had seen the many different looks that were available in the Hammonds range and got an idea of the price points, she was really surprised by how economical they turned out to be.

What to expect from a design visit
Try out lots of options
‘At Hammonds, we create designs on the computer in front of you, rather than drawing the plan on paper as some firms do. That means you can try out lots of different ideas until you feel totally confident in your decision. We’ll even take a photo of your wallpaper and carpet and upload them to the 3D plan, so you can really imagine how different your room could be.
Prepare to be surprised
'A designer can show you solutions you didn’t know were possible,’ says Tom. ‘For example, you might have a sloping ceiling and think hanging space isn’t an option for you, but we can design cupboards that include a low hanging rail with shelves above for folded clothes or bedding.

The components of your built-in bedroom cupboards will be delivered either with your fitter or ahead of the fitting date. The fitter will liaise with you ahead of the fitting date.

We have been really impressed with…
We have been really impressed with initial contact with the sales person who made it a very enjoyable experience, she was very knowledgeable professional and more importantly a kind and personable character who we felt comfortable and at ease with, she explained in detail how the process would work and to your credit that is exactly the experience we have had. The surveyor was very concise on what was needed and what we had to do to support the installation, the notes were clear and thorough. Finally the installer we had was young Patrick he is a very talented and courteous young man and we really enjoyed his company it was a pleasure to have him in our home and we were very happy with the product and the quality of the install. The service we received reminded me of a bygone era where service was always held in high priority well done Hammonds

Excellent products and excellent company to work with.
Very helpful staff when we first visited the Hammond’s Showroom - knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to look around and then plenty of time looking at samples too. A design visit was planned - our designer was extremely helpful and patient, and spent a long time going through options and guiding us through different ideas of what was possible. The designer also came back for a second lengthy visit, which again was excellent. Nothing was a problem, and all of our ideas and wishes were discussed and considered - again no pushy sales pitch, really understood what we wanted and gently and patiently guided us through the processes, and he also did lots of background sorting out to expedite the completion date. The accounts team were very helpful on the phone, quick response and helpful advice too. From initial visit to showroom to payment and booking surveyor has been smooth and over a short timescale. Wonderfully fitted wardrobes
Lovely product and the process was made very simple and straightforward from start to finish by people that care and have extensive knowledge. Always concerned when making such a huge investment but cannot recommend Hammonds enough.
