Hardworking and perfectionist
He worked very hard and was keen to get it exactly as I wanted it. However I had no idea it would take this long and how noisy and dusty it would be. I think customers should be told this in advance.

The work was done with little…

Good product, great service
I really appreciated a sales rep coming to my place to draw and render in real time the furniture. Once the product was installed, I notice a small defect and the customer service promptly sent a replacement. 10/10

At last a storage solution
The fitting of my new furniture went very smoothly and efficiently and I am very pleased with the final result. My only bug bear has been having to mess about using an online account which I find frustrating and time consuming. I should also add that James who did the fitting was extremely clean and tidy and worked quickly and quietly.

Wardrobe
Chris Marlow and Michael Rudd were very efficient and courteous. The fitter Norberto Candeias worked extremely hard despite being let down by being supplied with the wrong panel and having to source one with no manager support. Despite this he did a very good job and we are happy with the end result.

James the fitter was very good
James the fitter was very good. The 5 star rating is for Jame's work. Hammonds had underestimated the time required for the job, but rather than rush, James took time to ensure that the fitting was completed to a high standard, even though he won't be paid for the extra hours. I had asked James to discuss certain aspects with me during the build (like position of shelves and holes for power cables (which he did). In relation to Hammonds themselves some aspects of their communication could have been better. I was given a particular day (one date only) for installation well in advance of the instal. But with only a week to go Hammonds advised in would take 1.6 days. I checked with Hammonds that was 1.6 men for 1 day, but was told it was 1 man for 1.6 days. The second day had to be rearranged. It would have been helpful for Hammonds to let me know both planned days of the installation initially. Hammonds also told me that the parts would be delivered the day before between 1pm and 3pm. I had a text at 10.30am on the planned delivery day saying DX would deliver at 10.50am. That did not work for me (I was out) and so I asked DX to stick to 1pm to 3pm as had been agreed. I texted DX to advise them I was back home at 12.30pm. No delivery arrived. At 4pm (ie one hour after the agreed delivery slot), I phoned Hammonds to see where the delivery was. I was told it would be delivered between 8 and 9am the next day - the day of the build. No one thought to tell James (the fitter) or me and so James turned up before the wardrobe parts. Two hours of James time was therefore wasted waiting for the delivery which I doubt he will be paid for. This doesn't feel right to me.

I had Bart who was installing
I had Bart who was installing, very professional and polite. He updated me on what is being done and when he thought he would complete the job. Both Nathan (designer) and Bart (installer) were just what I required. I'm happy with my new wardrobe.
