As a family business working nationwide with 20 showrooms we have ambitious plans for growth. We are proud to manufacture all our furniture in Leicestershire offering our customers a comprehensive design, manufacture and installation service.

At Hammonds, people and culture are at the heart of everything we do. This role coordinates and curates initiatives that support learning, recognition, and engagement, helping our people grow, develop, and thrive while bringing the Hammonds Way to life.

The role:

  • Coordinate and maintain Hammonds Academy learning content, templates, and programmes, ensuring they are engaging, on-brand, and delivered on schedule.

  • Collaborate with subject experts to create simple, practical learning resources and test new content formats (e.g. video, guides, podcasts, microlearning).

  • Support recognition initiatives such as the Digital Wall of Fame and Long Service Awards, ensuring activity is timely, visible, and aligned to Hammonds values.

  • Manage the Culture and Wellbeing Calendars, delivering regular campaigns and supporting wider culture and engagement initiatives across the business.

  • Draft and deliver clear, on-brand communications and storytelling content across internal platforms to promote learning, recognition, and culture programmes.

  • Prepare communication toolkits and materials to help leaders and managers cascade key messages effectively.

  • Coordinate engagement and learning surveys, track participation and feedback, and produce simple, branded reports showing impact and outcomes.

  • Use data insights and AI tools to improve communication effectiveness, content targeting, and overall engagement.

You will bring:

  • A strong eye for brand consistency, ensuring all communications and materials reflect the Hammonds Way in look, tone, and feel.

  • Experience creating engaging people experiences across learning, recognition, and culture initiatives.

  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, inspiring content that builds pride and belonging.

  • A natural connector who collaborates effectively with managers, People Partners, and Culture Champions.

  • The ability to simplify complex information into accessible, practical resources.

  • A data-informed mindset, using feedback and insights to improve impact and engagement.

  • Confident and curious in using AI and creative tools (such as Canva and other content platforms) to work smarter, save time, and enhance impact.

  • A genuine passion for culture, living our values — Be Real, Be Committed, Be Creative — and inspiring others to do the same.
