What an outstanding fitter Sam Dixon was. Apart from the first class installation he was tidy, efficient and had a really pleasant manner. It’s a great pity we haven’t got him for tomorrow’s job too.

Excellent service start to finish
I kept changing the installation date and Hammonds were very understanding and accommodating. Communication was great both verbal and email. Everything went smoothly on the day of the fitting. Very nice and accommodating fitter, Stefan. My son loves his new wardrobe and we would use Hammonds again and recommend to friends and family.

A perfect bedroom
This is the second bedroom of our five project rooms with Hammonds. We have been delighted with every stage of the project - design, survey and fitting. But we must give a special mention to our fitter, James Hatton. One section of the fitting is under a sloping roof and is awkward. His measuring and cutting was millimetre perfect and we are very, very pleased with the final result.

From design to fitting, everything went to plan. Both fitters were very good at their job, and the final jobs (under stairs and family room cupboards) were as expected. Just waiting for surplus to be collected and taken away.

Fitted bedroom furniture
The fitter Jason arrived prompt at 8am as advised. He was friendly and courteous and worked non stop on fitting the bedroom units. He was very tidy putting down dust sheets and tidying everything up when he was finished. The units are lovely I am really impressed with the standard of his work he did a really good job 👍

Great customer service and a high quality product
So right from the off this company showed their worth - you definitely get what you pay for. Designer Alison was superb. She knew exactly how to design a wardrobe for the quirky space in my 400 year old cottage. Then the surveyor, Adrian, who was really experienced and took the initial design a step closer to reality. Then there was Peter in the showroom in Nottingham who knew who I was as soon as I walked in the showroom, knew the design and colour scheme, showed me everything I was having in my design. Spent time talking to me about the options and colours- even made me a coffee and a biscuit! Fitting day came and Luka turned up on time and set to work. He had ideas for the finishing and spent time talking to me about them and explaining why he thought it would improve the finish. So all in all a fabulous experience which is rare these days, a quality product that I am absolutely delighted with and everything done when I was told it would be done - no nonsense and minimum stress. Thank you Hammonds - great company and great people.

What to expect from a design visit
Try out lots of options
‘At Hammonds, we create designs on the computer in front of you, rather than drawing the plan on paper as some firms do. That means you can try out lots of different ideas until you feel totally confident in your decision. We’ll even take a photo of your wallpaper and carpet and upload them to the 3D plan, so you can really imagine how different your room could be.
Prepare to be surprised
'A designer can show you solutions you didn’t know were possible,’ says Tom. ‘For example, you might have a sloping ceiling and think hanging space isn’t an option for you, but we can design cupboards that include a low hanging rail with shelves above for folded clothes or bedding.
