Very helpful

Very helpful, friendly and polite designer helped to design our plan. He gave us lots of advice and took time to listen to what we wanted from the design. We were very tempted to accept the quote because of the high quality of fittings and the efficiency of the company but, unfortunately, although there were discounts which brought the cost down a lot, the end price was more than we wanted to pay.

What a great guy

What a great guy, very pleasant and helpful, when all was finished we had a small problem but despite his late finish with a smile on his face he put it right, one of the best workers we have had in years. This is an update to my previous post…

This is an update to my previous post on Hammonds. After my original critical post as you can see they sent a very nice apology and finally sent information on the manufacturer of the bulbs in the vanity unit. After a bit of internet detective work on my part, I discovered that it was both possible and very easy to change the white temperature of the bulbs (warm/ normal/ cool) in the vanity unit. A video on YouTube shows how it is done. Search YouTube for 'How to change the colour temperature of a Triotone Light' Life would have been a lot easier if they had sent that information in the first place however I am posting this for the benefit of other potential purchasers of the vanity unit and indeed Hammonds themselves so they are better able to advise actual and potential customers re the setting of the lights. Now that the issue has been resolved, I have upgraded my review to 5 stars.
