After our 1st day of fitting we could already see that Sam Dixon was doing a great job. He was friendly and caring ensuring that our carpets were protected and that he was careful when carrying in everything and carrying it upstairs. Unfortunately 2 of the lights were faulty but Sam was very supportive in trying to get the matter sorted out. Had it not been for the lights (not Sam’s fault) the installation would have been perfect.

James is highly diligent and effective, always finding the right solution to any problem he encounters. For example, when he arrived at my property, he realised there wasn’t enough space for his work station to cut the wood. He quickly resolved the issue by creating a suitable workspace without causing any damage to the property. Overall, the work was excellent.

Good but previous wardrobes were better..

After a few different quotes, and looking at different options with the surveyor, we got the design we wanted for our 2nd bedroom. The delivery was good and the fitter, Elliott, was also very good. This is our fifth Hammonds wardrobe! The only things that were a disappointment were the new sliding doors are not of the same quality as previous Hammonds sliding doors that we purchased twice, so we went for a conventional 5-door front frame design instead. Hammonds should revert back to the quality of their previous sliding doors. In terms of our wardrobe this time, the main disappointment was the colour. We chose a light oak which was darker than the sample supplied, but even so, allowing for wood variations, we previously purchased Libretto wardrobes in Maple, and 2 sliding wardrobes in beech. The oak was the lightest colour available, and again we preferred the previous lighter colours that are no longer available.

The whole experience was absolutely…

The whole experience was absolutely perfect. Adam was the sales person and his attention to detail was exceptional and his excellent customer service was outstanding. When it came to the fitting the work was carried out with care and attention and I was consulted along the way. The fitter worked in a very organised and clean environment and he was very pleasant and accommodating. He finished the job within a day and worked solid until done. I am so pleased with the end results. I would recommend Hammonds sales, service, product and quality any day!
