We had an absolutely enjoyable experience from the first meeting through to the final stage. The designers were very proactive, listened carefully to what we wanted, and worked around our requirements and needs. They also gave helpful suggestions on what would work best for us, which made the whole process feel very personal and well thought out. The quality of the design and finish is very good, and we are really pleased with the overall outcome. The team were professional, approachable and easy to communicate with throughout. Overall, a very positive experience and we would definitely recommend them.

Great company.

We were very satisfied with Hammonds from the outset, the designer Rob came and measured the wardrobes spent a good bit of time organising the inside arrangement as my mum changed it several times, but she wasn’t rushed and when the final plan was made, and quote given there was still no pressure. We did order a few days later and through their online portal we then paid and organised a survey, Aisha the surveyor messaged us and turned up in time, sorted that and we then set a date for fitting. The fitter Simon messaged us ahead of time to let us know when he’d be there and was on time, very pleasant, did the job in the time stated left it spotless and it looks spectacular, they have used the space well and mum is very happy!! Well done Hammonds, you have a very professional and friendly team. Would recommend.

Understairs cupboards

The experience was very positive at most stages. Design was good, the surveyor helped me discuss and clarify some points, which I hadn't thought about. Tony, the fitter, was here at 8.00 and worked non-stop to finish everything within a day. He was efficient and professional. He cleaned and tidied up at the end. I am very impressed with the end product. I can't wait to tidy everything into the cupboards. If there is something to be improved, I would say it would be the delivery. I was given a slot between 11.25 and 1.25. The truck arrived 45 min earlier with 10 min warning. Then the numerous messages from Hammonds started arriving on my phone. I arrived at 11.00 and everything was stored at home. However, as the automatic service in Hammonds had registered non-delivety because of absence, the fitting for Monday was automatically cancelled, I had to spend a long time, waiting on the phone to speak to Hammonds customers services to reverse the cancellation. Thankfully, the fitting slot had not yet gone. After the fitting there was so much timber left that even Tony said that it looked like a bedroom fitting not just a cupboard under the stairs. It seems quite wasteful to me, as these are high quality sheets. I am awaiting the rubbish to be collected in a couple of days.
