Hammonds set the bar for fitted furniture

From shop to design to construction Hammonds were able to offer a very good experience. The shop presented a place where you could get a hands on appreciation of the materials and look and arrange a no obligation home visit. The designer was able to tweak our imagined fitted study into a better than expected design. The images provided us with a real appreciation of what it would look like at the end of the process. The final, negotiated cost was satisfactory with the only disappointment at the design stage was not realising how significant the back voids of the cabinet units would be when completed. The build completion went to schedule and the look was excellent.The workmanship was to a high standard though there was some minor gaping and the filing cabinet runners were slightly misaligned. It is also worth noting that the filing cabinets take foolscap rather than A4 suspension files. Overall delighted with the outcome.

We're just at the ordering stage at the moment and a month or so away from fit so, I can only comment on the sales aspect. Which was great. Heather, who came to quote and advise was incredibly helpful and friendly.

What was so refreshing,Phill the…

What was so refreshing,Phill the designer was not pushy he listened and guided gently. I had a plan in my head of colours and fitments. I let him get on with measuring and alike. We then sat down, chose doors, handles and interior fixings and fittings. I had a budget in my head and he came with in it. We shook hands,deal done. Phill spoke honestly and politely, I did not feel pushed or pulled in anyway, I felt listened to.
