Introducing our fitted furniture showroom of the month, situated in the beautiful town of Christchurch and located within Cookes department store. 

The beautiful town of Christchurch within Dorset is nestled between the boarder of the spectacular New Forest and the picturesque south coast shore. A popular destination for holiday makers and if a bit of retail therapy is up your street, head to our recently rejuvenated showroom. We met with showroom manager Maggie Parks who showed us around the lovely showroom and introduced us to the ranges within the store.

What ranges do you have on display to offer visitors to the showroom?

Our decadent shaker style inspired range, Harpsden in Rich Praline boasts the modern greige tone trend with a classic cabinet design. For the look and feel of real wood, we have our Willoughby display in White Washed sliding wardrobes. For something glossy and modern our popular Elkin range is displayed in luxurious cashmere tone. In addition we also have the beautiful Seton in Rural Oak and Libretto in Avola White, all expertly styled with matching soft furnishings to give the most inspiration for our visitors homes. 

This showroom has sliding wardrobes as well as hinged fitted wardrobes, can you tell me the benefits of sliding wardrobes?

Yes our Willoughby White Wash display includes a sliding wardrobe. This option is great for smaller rooms, taking up less space than hinged wardrobe doors. Plus with the option to have mirrored sliding wardrobe door fronts, this reflects the space making it appear bigger. We have a great selection of interior storage solutions for sliding wardrobes, making the most of the space available.

How many samples do you have in-store?

We have over a hundred in our sample library, giving the customers the chance to see our ranges in their available tones. what's more, this gives the customer the chance to see what other ranges we can provide that aren't on display within the showroom. 

What are the opening times of this Christchurch fitted furniture showroom?

We are open between 10am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday.

This showroom is based in Cookes, can you tell me what else the department store has to offer shoppers?

The Hammonds studio is located within Cookes Furniture Store on the first floor with the beds and bedroom furniture. Cookes furniture is a family run independent furniture store hosting large ranges of traditional and contemporary furniture plus beds and bedroom furniture. They also host a soft furnishing and flooring section. The store offers ample free parking outside the store and a coffee bar located on the ground floor.

What would you recommend to visit on a day out in Christchurch?

Christchurch town is perfect for a day out it is an historic market town (Monday is market day) and is at the site where the River Avon and the River Stour meet. It boasts a 12th century priory and a ruined castle. Christchurch is right on the edge of the New Forest and close to the sea. It plays host to an annual food festival and several music events. The town motto is where time is pleasant and it certainly is.
