Beautiful Wardrobe & Excellent Service
I recently had a wardrobe fitted for my 5-year-old daughter by Hammonds Furniture, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. This was actually my second experience with Hammonds. They fitted a wardrobe in my own room a couple of weeks ago, and I loved the layout and the quality of the finish just as much. I absolutely love my daughter’s wardrobe and the amount of storage and space they managed to create, it’s made such a difference in her small room. I had been searching for a while and contacted several companies, but I struggled to find a layout that would work. The room is quite compact, and having a panel on one side made the storage even more limited. All I wanted was a practical solution that my daughter could use for years to come, and Hammonds delivered exactly that. Edward and his partner, who came to do the fitting, were such a lovely team. They took their time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure everything was finished to a high standard. I’m very pleased with my decision and so glad I chose Hammonds. I can’t wait to start organising her things properly!

Hammonds wall Cabinet Installation
Throughout the process from first meeting with the designer to the final installation date the company kept us informed of how our order was proceeding. We were visited by a surveyor who advised us what to expect and to double check everything from the design changes I added, all measurements of the room, location of property to ensure there would be no surprises on the day when the fitter arrived. The day before installation we received notification of the fitters details, name and ETA. What to do in preparation for the installation. Today 1st May 2026 our installation was completed. The fitter arrived on time, respected our property by covering all areas with ground sheets. He told us how the installation would proceed and asked for our opinion when options were available not making assumptions himself. The fitter tidied as he went along and attention to detail noted. All packaging and waste was removed from my home and before leaving vacuumed the working area and wiped down all installed cabinets. We received great service throughout from initial showroom contact to final completion the quality of the product is excellent. We have other fitted furniture from Hammonds installed in our home since 2001 and the quality of the products have stood the test of time which is the reason we chose to order from them again. I would recommend Hammonds Furniture to family and friends. I submit this review solely based on my personal experience with the company and have not received any incentives to do so.

We had fitted furniture installed in our home study
We had fitted furniture installed in our home study this week and completed today. We are happy that the quality of the fitted furniture and the standard of the fitting is well worth the price. The fitter Matt did a great job and the finished article looks fantastic. He had a real eye for detail and left the room nice and tidy on completion. We found the design visit with Colin invaluable in helping us get a design that not only looks good but works in the space we have in our study. The survey visit with Michael was so helpful enabling us to really consider how the design would work for us and tweak to suit. Overall we would highly recommend Hammonds for a quality product and excellent fitting.
