A key consideration was storage space as Jennifer explained: “Because Daye is an energetic four-year old, he loves playing with his toys and he has lots of them!
“When I had my offer accepted on the house I started to think about where it might be good to add in storage, so for instance the alcoves in Victorian houses are the perfect places to introduce storage solutions that are in keeping with the room aesthetic.
Initially, she had heard about Hammonds through word of mouth but thought that it would be too expensive as she needed a lot of fitted furniture, in her lounge, kitchen, master bedroom and Daye’s room. However, once she had seen the many different looks that were available in the Hammonds range and got an idea of the price points, she was really surprised by how economical they turned out to be.

What to expect from a design visit
Try out lots of options
‘At Hammonds, we create designs on the computer in front of you, rather than drawing the plan on paper as some firms do. That means you can try out lots of different ideas until you feel totally confident in your decision. We’ll even take a photo of your wallpaper and carpet and upload them to the 3D plan, so you can really imagine how different your room could be.
Prepare to be surprised
'A designer can show you solutions you didn’t know were possible,’ says Tom. ‘For example, you might have a sloping ceiling and think hanging space isn’t an option for you, but we can design cupboards that include a low hanging rail with shelves above for folded clothes or bedding.

I would like to give a big thank you to Steve our fitter. Through the whole process he kept us involved and informed in every aspect of the fitting. He was polite and respectful and always cleared up each day. To be honest the whole process from start to finish was effortless each individual listened to our requirements and brought them to life. The whole process was great
The whole process was great, Mahmoud was experienced with design vs our budget and without trying to sell unnecessary items. We were kept informed throughout and finally our fitter Steve was a real craftsman. He worked incredibly hard to deliver exactly what we had envisaged. Thanks to all involved

The salesman Ben the salesman was great as was the surveyor, and then the fitter.
The salesman Ben was great. Really patient as I must have changed my mind about 20 times!! I even changed my order, but no-one complained. Then I changed the colour! no-one complained. The wardrobe was fitted today by Marco, and he was really polite and helpful, cleaned up afterwards. Nothing was too much trouble. He did a great job too. All in all I would say great service, good value for money, and happy with result. I already recommended to my friend who has booked her order too.

From our initial sales consultation to the Hammonds' surveyor and then the fitter we have had a superb experience with Hammonds. We are very happy with our wardrobes. Our fitter was extremely professional and so helpful with the final fitting brief. He completed the work on time.
